Hillside Daisy is a lovely doe with nice silky wool. She is just under three years old at the moment (January 2022) so we may let her meet up with another buck before she retires from having litters. Not sure which buck, but she's a healthy doe with great wool, good temperament, good conformation and it would be nice to get a few more babies from her before she retires. Maybe later this year?
This is Daisy as a baby bunny when she was about eight weeks old. She always has been a friendly and curious bunny. Even now that she's an older bunny, she's still a friendly doe. Since temperament seems to breed true, we always encourage friendly bunnies and usually choose them for having litters.
This Daisy all grown up. In the picture, she's waiting to have her first litter, although she didn't look particularly chubby. She's a good mum bun and maybe she will have more babies. Although, since she's almost three, if she is going to, it will probably be later this year. Although, we already have four of her offspring here (Valkyrie, Axial, Astra & Aurora), so before adding more, we will have to check to see how related they would be before picking out which buck she should meet. Along with all the other considerations for choosing which buck would be best, it can take awhile to figure out good pairs - not that the bunnies always go along with the same choices, though.
