This is Phineus Phogge, whom we usually call 'Phin'. His picture above is one of his younger pictures, he always has been a cute boy. He's very mellow with a lovely dense coat. He is a 'lilac' buck which means his color is a diluted chocolate. He can have all sorts of colors in his offspring since he carries the recessive color genes for chocolate, Ruby Eyed White (albino), as well as the dilute colors such as blue and more lilacs.

His wool is lovely and soft, although it could be a bit more silky in texture. It's just a touch on the cottony side. However, his mellow temperament more than makes up for that.

Phin also has the odd characteristic of being well liked by the other bucks. It doesn't seem to matter who his neighbors are but they all figure out some way to wiggle through to the other side of the wall and hang out with him.

Here's an assortment of Phineas Phogge pictures. The bunnies here at Hillside Farm just get their pictures taken in a haphazard manner so there's no specific ages or time when they get their pictures taken.

Sometimes bunnies change their color a bit between coats. For his first coat, Phin had a chocolate mask. Since his color, lilac, is a dilute version of chocolate, that kinda makes sense, although I don't know why he only had it for the one coat.
