Hillside Viktor is a somewhat shy buck. Bunnies have a whole range of bunnyalities (that's like 'personality' except for bunnies) and Vik is definately on the shy side instead of the outgoing side.
He does have lovely fiber, but he is a tortoiseshell so I don't know if he will be used as a herd buck since there's already enough tortoiseshell and fawn colored bunnies providing fiber for Beach Bunny color of Hula Bunny yarn. In order for a tortoiseshell color of bunny to show up, it requires a double recessive 'ee' in their genetic color code. I try to keep dominant color genes in the herd as well as the recessive color genes so a black buck with a recessive for fawns & torts would be a better herd buck - as far as color genes go - than a buck with only the 'ee' recessives.
All that translates to a possibility that Viktor may be available to move to a new home. Although, he does seem to have the 'extra fluffy' gene as well as the tortoiseshell genes, so maybe he should have a litter with an extra fluffy doe before he moves away. Preferably one who has an outgoing temperament to offset his shyness. Hmm, guess he needs a haircut and a girlfriend?
This is a younger Viktor picture when he hadn't quite grown into his ears yet. Bunnies go through a lanky teenage stage just like everybunny else.
Viktor is the one on the right, the extra fluffy one. He's got a great coat on him, he even had it as a baby. He's also got a pretty good density of color, although as a tortoiseshell, that comes across as blond.
